01 — Our Story

Two P's in a Pod
K & J

Dr. Klarissa Palacios & Johnathon Pimentel

It started in Honors English class, and apparently all it took was a few years…and then a few more years after that to get here.

Before any of this, we were best friends first and that has always been the foundation. We cheered each other through school, degrees, career milestones, and everything in between. We traveled, found our favorite restaurants, debated sports takes, and had the honor of being in the lives of some of our favorite little ones. Through every season, we just kept showing up for each other, and somewhere in all of that, the friendship quietly became something neither of us had the words for yet.

Looking back, the best moments were never really about the milestones themselves. They were about the fact that we were there together. Life genuinely felt better with the other person in it.

Our recent travel adventures led us to the breathtaking shores of Lake Como, Italy, where one unforgettable evening became the beginning of our forever. At Villa Balbiano, surrounded by Klarissa's favorite white and blush roses, beneath a glowing Italian sunset, and with a violinist playing the songs that had become the soundtrack of our love story, one question changed everything. In a moment that felt like a dream, we said yes to forever. It was everything we had ever imagined, the perfect beginning to the next chapter of our story.

So here we are. Two kids from the same English class who took the scenic route, enjoyed the journey, and never lost each other along the way. We've grown up together, chosen each other through every version of ourselves, and built something that has always felt exactly like this.

Now it's time to celebrate. Get dressed, bring the energy, and come party with us. We've been waiting for this one.
